The late master Boppel presented to us in a judges meeting in January 1905 some sketches for a scale of values to judge the St. Bernard type which we here would like to publish to the breeder's benefit once more.

He described the No. 1 as the desirable head, a sketch after Künzli's "Kean", which Dr. Künzli at that time called the best dog bred by himself .
