Report from the delegatemeeting 2011 Friday june 3rd at 09.00 am at Olympia-congresscenter, Seefeld.

TOP 1 The president of the WUSB Wolfgang Ketzler gives a warm welcome to the delegates and the guests from Russia and to the presidents of CH. and USA. He declare the correctnes of the invitations and the meeting. Mr. Ketzler tells that the ex-president of the WUSB mr. Ko de Graaf has past away. The delegates gives a minute of honour to the members who past away within the last year.
Mr. Ketzler wants to change so that top 9 will be taken before top 8. Mrs. Miriam Nelissen-Franssen wants to bring to discussion about the small shops from the different countries at the WUSB-shows. The delegates agreed on both points.
TOP 2 and 3 The president of the Austrian Club Hans Linser gives a warm welcome to the delegates and judges. The place Seefeld was chosen because of ist infrastructor and because of the mountens so that our dogs could be at the right place to be showen. Mr. A. Prossek gives informations about the show.
TOP 4 The Tsch. St. Bernardclub gives informations about the WUSB-show 2012 in Tsch.
The judgemeeting in Tsch. will take place Thursday Mai 31st 2012.

TOP 5 There were no objections against the report of the last delegatemeeting 2010 in France. The countries wants the reports earlier. It was confirmed that the reports will be send to the countries when it was made in german. then be send later.
TOP 6 Report frem the president.
Mr. Ketzler gives a warm thankyou to the Frensh Club for the beautiful WUSB-show 2010 in Ribeauville. The frensh club will get a diploma at the banquet. It was a silent year, not that much writing. Breedingsregulation was made. There was a boardmeeting in Seefeld to prepare the WUSB 2011. The The preperations this year had a lot of work, and it gave a lot of e-mails to solve problems. Espescielly about a seminar. It was a matter of different things, about Peter Brieskorn and the IBF, but most about the strict separation between IBF and the WUSB.
Report vice-president: Mr. Tessier goes fort he Standard, the delegates and the judges has the responsebility to make sure that the FCI-standard will be used in the couintries. Mr. Tessier will make comments and drawings to the standard, and they will later be given to the delegates and the judges.
Report 1st secretary: Mrs. Splinter declare that her job is to make the paperwork done. She has to writ invitations-reports-address-lists with names, addresses, phone-numbers, email-addresses and so on. Therefore she would be very happy when the present delegates and judges will correct the list going around. She also would be very happy when there has been elections in the memberclubs, and new people has been elected, please give her the informations.
Report treasurer: Reto Wiederkehr reads the financial report. The trasurer is at the moment in good condition.
Report 2nd. secretary: The translations is sometime not that easy, then the WUSB has gone from small with only one language (german) to a big family with many languages. So now we also have english and frensch. But it does not matter as long as we can talk with one another and about ouer beautiful and noble St. Bernard.
Report Barry Digital: Kari Augestadt has unfortunately not much positiv to tell, then she has not become many reports and articles from the membercountries. She asks for more informations from the membercountries. They have to be send to the president Wolfgang Ketzler, who will send them to here so she can putt hem on Barry Digital.
TOP 7 Kari Augestadt brings on the application from the Spanish Club for only one judge in the ring. Carl Otto Mastrup explanes, that it is a long tradition that at the WUSB there has to be 2 judges in the ring. It ist he purpose that the judges has to learn from one another. It can give a little trouble, but the positive is higher than the negative. After a good discussion the delegates prefor that there has to be 2 judges in the ring.
TOP 9 The breeding results from the member-countries has been gone trough, and the result ist hat the breeding and the litters in the countries are going back. The wusb-president had asked the member-countries fort he breedingrules and brings out the results. There is also a study of Bone-cancer showed. The places for „Bernhardiner in Not“ is showed. It is especially in the border-countries fine to know the addresses of the agencies of „Bernhardine in Not“. Breeding longhair and shorthair:
Mr. Long Doyle from Ireland ask how it is in the different countries. Because in Ireland it is not permitted to breed longhaired with shorthaired. In Schwitzerland you have to ask for permitment to breed long/shorthaired. By looking in the pedigrees they look for genetic structure, and i fit is OK you can do that. And the argumentatation with the FCI can be done.
TOP 8 The wusb-president Mr. Ketzler brings out to the delegates the rules from IBF (International Bernhadiner Forum), the the successor organization of the Forum. The Forum was a organization of St. Bernard Clubs. The IBF is a registered Club in Germany with place in Bochum under German law and with personel membership. There was a detailed discussion and most of the delegates saw this evolution as becoming critical.
TOP 10 WUSB Shows:
2012 The Tsch. Club has the show 10 years after there 1st WUSB-show in Tsch. 2013 Denmark has the show 40 years anniversery. 2014 There has to be voted between Germany and Italy. 2015 Finland
Votation fort he WUSB 2014 ( 28 delegates voted) 15 Germany and 13 Italy. Wusb 2014 goes to Germany.
WUSB 2013 in Denmark The time for he show in Denmark has to be changed because of the FCI-world show was at the same time. Denmark will come with a new date.
Application from the Dutch Club: The info-shops from the membercountries has to be free on WUSB-shows. Accepted.
TOP 11 Nothing.

At the end seminar with theoretic and practical work with St. Bernards, for example the changes of the standard.

TOP 1 The WUSB-president Wolfgang Ketzler gives his welcome to the judges. He goes through the correct invitation and goes through the correctness of the judgemeeting. The meeting is not for guest.
TOP 2 The present judges rises to honour the members that past away during the last year.
TOP 3 and 4 Mr. Janes, as Headjudge and on behalf of the Austrian Club and the president Hans Linser welcomes the judges. He introduces mr. Prossek who runs the organisation for the Austrian Club. The banquett and the show will take place in the WM-hall and not at the Congresszentrum, because of very many St.Bernard people has made . reservations.
TOP 5 There is no objections against the report from the last judgemeeting 2010 in France.
TOP 6 Mr. van Hummelen from Belgien do not want to be at the judgementlist anymore. The WUSB-president Mr. Ketzler reads the letter from Mr. van Hummelen.
Judges 2012 (Information for the report, then the judges will be voted later at the delegatemeeting on Friday.) Regard!!!! The judgemeeting in Tsch. will take place Thursday Mai 31st 2012.

JUDGE SEMINAR:
Carl Otto Mastrup, Reinholdt Welsch and Annegret Splinter had prepared a seminar. At first Carl Otto Mastrup tried to get the judge to participate so there could be a good dialog between the judges. He showed pictures of dogs from the last 35 years. There was a good discussion about type – balance in the head – overtype/undertype. Earset and about the eyeform and expression. Also because of the changes of the standard. Then there was a practical part showed by Annegret Splinter/Reinholdt Welsch about the front – the rear and the movement. Every judge had to fill out a formular with different opportunities. The judges made a good job, about 80% was correct. The papers/drawings and pictures can be ordered at Annegret Splinter.
Mr. Tessier brought out some photos from the winning dogs at Cruft. There were very bad examples of wrong proportions and overtype. Mrs. Muggleton the president of the English Club, could tell, that the judges of the St. Bernard was afterwards taken of the list of St. Bernard Judges.
Afterwards the judges had to make reports of 3 St.Bernard showed outside. Reinholdt made 3 groups, and every group had to make a report of each dog. It gave a very good discussion. A intensive and good meeting where the judges were talking with one another and not to one another.
