1. Greeting and count of the delegate-numbers The WUSB-President, Wolfgang Ketzler, greets all present delegates and guests. He determines the proper invitation and quorum of the meeting. He thanks the Dutch club for the alignment of the show. His particular thanks goes at Myriam Nelissen-Franssen and Jan van de Belt acting for all who are responsible for the organization.
2. Greeting-word of the president of the Dutch St. Bernard-Club The chairperson of the Dutch club, Mr. Nol van de Ven, greets all present delegates and guests and wishes them all a beautiful and successful weekend.
3. Piece of information of the Dutch club about the WUSB-Show 2006 Myriam Nelissen-Franssen gives a short overview over the course of the weekend and the planned activities. She tells in which rings the individual groups are judged and announces that 181 Saint Bernards have been entered from 18 different countries.
Item 5. shall be discussed now.
5. Minutes 2005 Against the minutes from Spain 2005 are raised no objections.
4. Short-piece of information of the Slovakian club about the WUSB-Show 2007
The delegates of the Slovakian club share to all present brochures and CDs with informations about the WUSB-Show in Slowakia: March 30th and 31st, 2007. Since the Slovakian club at the same weekend would like to connect a club-show on April 1st, 2007, this is discussed again since a decision exists that only the WUSB-Show should take place at the WUSB-weekend. Wolfgang Ketzler asks the delegates to clarify the issue immediately. Since the opinions are divided over it, he asks for vote of an exception for the year 2007. The decision should be valid after it for the future without exception to organize only the WUSB-Show at the WUSB-weekend.
Result of the voting: 27 yes, 3 forbearances, Therefore the Slovakian club can organize 2007 its club-show on the day after the WUSB as an single exception.

5. Reports of the Board -President - Wolfgang Ketzler reports on a quiet year without many activities. One not yet have decided on the planned judges-meeting. He got an info about the situation in the Hospice. Ruedi Thomann will report on it later. On the inquiry at the clubs, how much interest at the „Barry International “exists, only one answer came. Also it should be discussed later. Jan van de Belt has explained to lay down his work as editor. However since a successor is to be not found so easily, he has declared to continue until a successor is found. Perhaps. a debuty should be chosen. After the English St. Bernard Club now also the Scottish Saint Bernard Club has left the WUSB for financial reasons. A letter to the FCI respecting the acknowledgment of the World Union was not answered until now. Mr. Ketzler asks the Swiss St. Bernhard-Club for support. He thanks the Clube Portugues do Cáo Sáo Bernardo for his honorary member-shaft. Furthermore, he thanks the clubs, which send to him its club-magazines regularly. It should be thought about if WUSB-labels or -Stickers should be produced. Bob Bostrom will run no longer for professional reasons. Furthermore, Erika Kalscheuer resigns as secretary. The German club has sent out Annegret Splinter as new delegate.
- Secretary– Erika Kalscheuer announces her resignation after 10 years of term of office and tells that she surely will visit the WUSB-events further on.
- Treasurer Reto Wiederkehr announces the cash holding. He at the moment has no problems with the clubs. It is paid promptly.
- Editor „Barry International “ Jan van de Belt reports on his activity, that has begun 15 years ago with a simple booklet and became in cooperation with Kari Augestad and Miguel Ortega to a very beautiful and costly magazine later. Unfortunately, only the last edition will appear now. Wolfgang Ketzler gives a list, in which should be written down, around whether interest still exists in a printed magazine and perhaps how many copies the clubs would like to order. At the moment the „Barry “only appears in the Internet. Jan van de Belt asks for it to choose a successor for him. Unfortunately, no suggestions were done. Wolfgang Ketzler asks for it to ask in the individual clubs whether somebody is ready to take on this office.
- Cash auditors - For the cash auditors, Myriam Nelissen-Franssen tells that the cash register was kept clearly and correctly by Retor Wiederkehr. The report of the engaged Swiss trust company certified this.
7. Exoneration of the Board One votes on the exoneration of the Board. Result of the voting: unanimously, 4 forbearances
Erika Kalscheuer resigns as German delegate, but continues writes the minutes during the re-election. Annegret Splinter takes her place.
8. Decision of an election committee and new election of the Board As election-leader, Christine Wiederkehr is chosen; assessors: Jan van de Belt and Franky De Tandt.
- President– Single suggestion: Wolfgang Ketzler. Result of the voting: unanimously, 1 forbearance
- Vice-president– Proposed are: Jean Prim (Luxembourg) and Christian Tessier (France) Secret election: Jean Prim gets 13 votes and Christian Tessier 15 votes. Consequently, Christian Tessier is elected as the vice-president.
- 1. Secretary– Single suggestion: Annegret Splinter Result of the voting: unanimously, 1 forbearance
- Treasurer Single suggestion: Reto Wiederkehr Result of the voting: unanimously, 1 forbearance
- 2. Secretary, dependent on French, - Single suggestion: Jean Prim Result of the voting: unanimously, 1 forbearance
about a 3. Secretary for the English translations should be spoken in the next year once again.
- Cash auditors– Proposed are: Myriam Nelissen-Franssen and Franky De Tandt. Result of the voting: unanimously, 2 forbearances
After conclusion of the election, Erika Kalscheuer hands over the writing of the minutes to Annegret Splinter.

9. Discussion and decision about future the „Barry International “, New printing work, lay-out, appearance-manner and expenses The „Barry International “will appear in the previous form only once, also Mr. van de Belt would like to make available his office as editor since he has enforced from beginning at this work.
Mrs. Augestad from Spain tells, that the Barry is available like the printing edition also in the Internet as pdf-file, however the download lasts up to 20 minutes.
The president has an offer from approximately 2 € by the piece from the Slovakia, this offer can also hold the previous printing work, however a circulation from approximately 1000 pieces is necessary. The expenses for the shipment still come to it, according to quantity between 50 to 80 € per parcel. Prerequisite is however that a solid order of the WUSB-members is available.
The meeting discusses a pure representation in the Internet. Result of the voting: 12 votes for the pure Internet-representation; 15 votes for the printed version. The Board is engaged to care once again.
10. Election of the editor „Barry International “
After nobody states from the meeting ready to adopt the work of the editor, Mr. van de Belt volunteers to run again, he asks however to get help from the clubs. Mr. Ketzler relays this as job at the delegates.
Result of the voting: unanimously, 1 forbearance
11. Piece of information over the "Barry Foundation" / discussion and perhaps resolution of a the support through the WUSB
Mr. Rudolf Thomann of the "Foundation Barry" reports and informs about the actual situation of the hospice and the kennel. At the moment there are two Foundations: Museum Martigny and the Barry-Foundation, both works together narrowly.
The Swiss club stands behind the organization, Mr. Müller, the Swiss president, emphasizes.
Financial help is required from outside, because the most money is to be used for the personnel costs; because it is important not only to look after the dogs but also the socialization and education of the dogs has to be made in sufficient time.
The museum will make available a showcase for the WUSB and its member countries and asks for exhibits.
It is proposed that the WUSB adopts a sponsorship. The sponsorships are graduated in gold (1000 €), silver (500 €) and bronzes (300 €) per year. The delegates decide in favor of the bronze-sponsorship.
Result of the voting: 28 pros
Since the WUSB has a good cash register-stand, Mrs. Augestad proposes to make available for 1000 € singularly in this year.
Result of the voting: 24 pros
Mr. Thomann thanks heartily in the name of the foundation.
12. Nomination of a honorary-member Mr. Peter Schmidlin, honorary-president of the WUSB, has proposed in the last year to the president of the WUSB to nominate Mrs. Katharina Heyberg, long-time delegate in the WUSB (for the USA and Norway) as honorary member.
Result of the voting: 25 pros
13. Sundries That Dutch club states that it is disappointed about the lacking support of the German St. Bernard-Club, particularly the publishing of the informations of the show and the entry papers.
At 13 o'clock, the president Mr. Ketzler closes the delegates-meeting.

4. Informations from the member countries
The "Bernhardiner Club Deutschland" (Germany 2) has established a DNA-examination before the breeding-admission.
The English Kennel-Club has asked all members to work for a new standard because of the EC-guidelines. The meeting request the english Clubs to adopt the FCI-Standard.
The WUSB-President tells the meeting that the English and the Scottish St. Bernard-Club have left the WUSB for financial reasons.
7. Lecture and discussion: Movement and Exterieur of the Saint Bernard
The Dean of judges Mr. van de Belt greets the judges and guests and introduces Mr. M. van de Weijer as speaker.
Mr. van de Weijer holds his lecture about construction and movement of the Saint Bernard which he supports with sketches and Handouts.
An active discussion follows.
