4.
Report the President and review on
the last year
Wolfgang
Ketzler reports that the last year has proceeded very quietly on the
whole. Only the news of the Hospiz has
provided some unrest and some discussions.
In item 8
is reported
over it.
5.
Report the secretary and the
treasurer
Erika Kalscheuer
asks the delegates to declare their fax - or e-mail-addresses so
that the shipment of the invitations and minutes becomes easier.
The cashier,
Reto return, gives an overview over the cash
register-situation. At the moment there is a plus from approximately
16.000 Euro. He reports that all bills were sent to the member
clubs. The actual count of memberships are
given known.

Last information of the WUSB-Show
2005
discussed
now.
Kari
Augestad tells that 142
dogs areentered
to the show. She gives a detailed overview over the course of the
weekend, the individual events as well as the departure-time of the
shuffle-buses.
6.
Report the editor „Barry
International “
Wolfgang Ketzler thanks Jan van de
Belt and Kari Augestad for the executed
work. Kari Augestad reports that there
will still be two editions in the year 2005. It must become
deliberate how it can continue. She offers to make available the
Barry gratuitously in the Internet. Jan van de Belt introduces a
suggestion of Erich Wermelskirchen. With
this offer, at four-color printing would cost approximately 4.000
Euro with 72 sides with 2000 copies, for two years
á four editions 3.800 Euro. The ads
would be free. Peter Brieskorn does the
suggestion to print only the outsides colored,
which the expenses would halve.
Furthermore, one considered, whether
the clubs perhaps would be willing to pay the expense for postage
and also some money for the printing. Jean Prim suggests to ask
the clubs which interests exist. A cost
schedule had to then be done. However, this must be adjudicated
until ultimate of the year.
7.
Decision over exclusion of clubs
because of not paid membership fees
Wolfgang Ketzler announces that the
club from New Zealand has quit the WUSB. Furthermore he reports that
no more feedbacks come from Australia. It must be assumed that there
no more interest exist. The board applies to cancel the Australian
club.
Result of the
voting: unanimously, 1 forbearances
8.
Report the Swiss St. Bernard-Club
about the situation of the dogs in the Hospiz
Ruedi
Thomann reports on the previous events.
He emphasizes that he doesn’t speak for the Swiss club but for the
new founded foundation. First an article appeared in
August 2004 in the Italian newspaper La
Stampa, after that two English
newspapers and the biggest newspaper of the Switzerland reported
about it. As a result, the foundation, that
consists of eight organizers, was established. The
purchase are the buildings in
Martigny, the dogs and the kennel-name.
60.000 Swiss francs one gets annually from the monks and 15.000
francs taken on from sponsors.
The goal is to be built a
foundation-capital in 10 years in height of two million Swiss
francs.
Wolfgang Ketzler thanks
Ruedi Thomann
for the statement.
9.
Pronunciation over the current
situation in the WUSB and its member-clubs;
Suggestions for
a better organization and public relation
Peter Brieskorn
reports in names of the Italian club that the umbrella organization
ENCI now publishes special papers for the dogs,
who are checked for HD.
Austin Longdoyle
introduces the Irish club as new WUSB-Mitglied.
It is an active club with many Saint Bernards.
The delegate thanks for the application and the invitation and asks
simultaneously for support, also from sides of the judges.
Wolfgang Ketzler asks after it for
suggestions to the better representation of the WUSB.
Peter Schmidlin
determines that the WUSB has today a better team spirit as to his
time. He proposes to organize once more a judges-breeders-meeting,
in which also the breeding
responsibles of the clubs should take
part. He could imagine that this could take place in the middle of
Europe all two or three years. Thanks at Peter
Schmidlin for his implementations. Jan van de Belt shall
inquire at the Swiss Mountaindog-Club
about the experiences with such meetings every two years.
The Board should become instructed to
start a meeting. One votes on it.
Result of the
voting: unanimously
Carlo there Silva tells that the
second Portuguese club exists again:
Clube
Português do Cão
de São Bernardo. He is the president. He
asks whether his club can be member again. Wolfgang Ketzler does the
suggestion to decide on it today, if
nobody of the present is against it, although no written proposition
is available, since the club was already a member earlier. The two
Portuguese clubs must agree about the
votings since
only two delegate-votes per country are possible but the first club
has according to the WUSB-statutes decision-right however.
It is voted on the membership.
Result of the
voting: unanimously, 3 forbearances

11.
Situation of the Dean of judges established in the statutes in
2004
In the
last year, one decided that a Dean of judges should be chosen from
among the judges for 3 years. Instead of this the judges-meeting has
proposed that a judge of the country, in whom the WUSB takes place,
should organzise
the judges-discussion. In
this year,
it is Julian
Hernandez from
Spain.
13.

storage and the respective transportation with itself, which already
shows the experience with the WUSB-flags.

The WUSB-President Wolfgang Ketzler calls
all present judges and guests
a cordially welcome and hands over the word to the
chairman, Mr. Julian Hernandez.
Julian Hernandez opens
the judges-meeting and introduces the today's speaker.
Rolands
Hans from Switzerland explains way to the current new
version of the standard, which demands he makes to the
standard, and he gives some explanations to the wording
(see attachment). Peter Brieskorn
from Germany speaks about the physique and the movement
of the Saint Bernards.
Dr. Giovanni
Morsiani could not hold his
speech for informal reasons unfortunately. Therefore
Peter Brieskorn takes over
also the description of the construction and expression
of the head.
The speeches formed then
the basis for an active discussion. Unfortunately, the
discussion and presentation of dogs didn't occur from
lack of time.
Julian Hernandez thanks
the speakers and hands over the word to the WUSB-Presidenten.
Unfortunately the
remaining agenda-items could not be discussed because of
the advanced time.
At 17.30 o'clock, the
president Wolfgang Ketzler closes the judges-meeting and
wishes all a beautiful and interesting weekend in
Estepona and the judges a
good hand in doing their job.
